Bigger is better right? Big Dreams. Big Sales. Big Handbags. Big containers of Blue Bell Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream ~ wait that might be a BIG dream. Mmmmm. But I think you get the point. Big has a lot of perspective and we saw that this week. It was so much fun to see how you handled this tougher than usual challenge. And way to Think BIG!

WEEK 42'S THEME IS: "BLAST TO THE PAST"
I call this "Vintage Madison" - I used a favorite hat prop, lots of pearls and only one light over head. It was edited in Alien Skin's Exposure 5 using Platinum processing and a watercolor border. I always LOVE vintage portraits.I saw a great technique yesterday where you shoot the shot into the mirror - a giant mirror. I was in love with it and wanted to try it, but alas I have no giant mirror. YET. But think about it, it give a really cool grain for a vintage shot!

What's NEW with Daphne Ellenburg?
My trip Tuscaloosa was a huge success. We had so much fun. We walked all over campus. I did some roll tide shopping. I bought the best button. I can wear it every year to every game!
The kids had a great time! Here's me and Madison before I made her walk 3 miles. :-)

Then we watched our team win with the best view ever.

And here we are after the game. Jefferson made it all the way through without a nap. Shocking.

Tuesday I tried my hand at Real Estate photography. I was pretty proud of me. The photomerge feature in the new Photoshop CS6 is lightyears ahead of 5 - if you haven't tried it. Do it. This is 5 photos rolled into one.

I watched my big boy toss other big boys to the ground on Thursday. 60 is mine.
Did a Vendor show on Friday night and I met a lot of great new people and got to show off some beautiful smiles. I also met a lot of people who had no idea we had a beautiful new studio on the MAIN strip of town. So much for that $1500 sign. {sad face}

We also joined the chamber. So hopefully we won't be a secret for too much longer.

Wishing you a wonderful week of family fun and photography. Can't wait to see where you blast into the past.
